#7 What Does 声 Mean? ~ Japanese Kanji~
2018. 12. 20
Hello everyone!
How are you?
Thank you so much for coming here.
It's kÜshi.
🔴I help you study kanji and Japanese
by making example sentences with
kanji.
And then I explain the grammars and
all the kanji which are used in the
sentences
🔴I realized that I should make useful
sentences so that you can learn kanii
with very natural Japanese which we
usually use, not formal ones.
🔴The method to study here.
I always make very natural sentences,
so they are sometimes difficult to
understand.
But don't worry. I explain everything in
detail.
So this is one of the best methods to
study here.
1. Copy the sentences on paper
carefully.
2. Read aloud the sentence while
looking it.
3. Read the explanations.
I hope this helps you a lot!

How to write 声👇

声声声声声声声声声声声声声声声声声声声声声声声
Example sentence:
1. She spoke in a loud voice.
...彼女 は 大きな 声 で 話した
/kanojo wa oo-kina koe de hana-shita/
This sentence is simple and not so hard to understand👍
👉彼女(かのじょ, kanojo)
This means "she"
By the way, 彼 means "he", and 女 means "woman".
If you say only 彼(kare), it means "he"
👉大きな(おおきな, oo-kina)
This means "big"
So 大きな声 means "a loud voice"
That's easy.
By the way, "small" is 小さな(chii-sana)
👉声で(こえ で, koe de)
で means like "with" and "by", used like "with bat" and "by bus".
So it means "means"
"with bat"...bat is used as means.
"by bus"...bus is used as means.
So 大きな声で, this means "in a loud voice".
Voice is used as means to speak.
👉話した(はなした, hana-shita)
This is a past form of 話す, which means to speak/talk/tell/say
If you put た after verbs, you can make a past form.
And you also have to change the verbs' forms themselves.
For example:
話す(hana-su)...to speak
話した(hanashi-TA)...spoke
たべる(taberu)...to eat
たべた(tabeTA)...ate
走る(hashi-ru)...to run
走った(hashi-TTA)...ran
読む(yo-mu)...to read
読んだ(yo-mDA)...read
書く(ka-ku)...to write
書いた(ka-iTA)... wrote
する(suru)...to do
した(shiTA)...did
見る(mi-ru)...to see
見た(mi-TA)...saw
聞く(ki-ku)...to hear
聞いた(ki-iTA)...heard
作る(tsuku-ru)...to make
作った(tsuku-TTA)...made
So 話した means "spoke"
Now you can translate 彼女は大きな声で話した into English.
彼女 is "she"
大きな is "big"
大きな声で means "in a loud voice"
話した is "spoke"
So "she spoke in a loud voice"
That's all today.
Thank you so much for reading!
I hope this helps you a lot.
Ask me if you have any questions.
See you next time~~!
